Borrowing and Loan period

To borrow media from the Library, you are always required to submit your library card. Pick the chosen books or other media from the shelves and take them to the loan desk. Here your media will be booked to your library account and you will receive a slip including the details of borrowing. Please take account of the return date and keep this slip until you return the media!

Books and other media that cannot be borrowed are marked with appropriate labels. As a matter of principle, periodicals and newspapers cannot be borrowed.

At Sankt Augustin you are provided with a self-booking facility for borrowing media, which you will find opposite the loan desk. It is suitable for borrowing books, but not for videos, cassettes and DVDs.

Please also make sure in this case that you do not forget to bring along your slip with the return date!
